The VICTOR Denmark Open 2025, a BWF World Tour Super 750 event held at Jyske Bank Arena in Odense from October 14-19, has seen Indonesian shuttlers display a blend of triumphs and setbacks in the early rounds. With the tournament in full swing on October 15, Indonesia's men's doubles pairs have emerged as the standout performers, securing impressive victories and underlining the nation's depth in the category.

In men's doubles, all four Indonesian pairs advanced to the round of 16. Seventh seeds Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri cruised past Japan's Kenya Mitsuhashi and Hiroki Okamura 21-17, 21-13 in 40 minutes, adapting well to the windy court conditions despite initial surprises. Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Rahmat Hidayat pulled off a stunning upset, defeating world champions and second seeds Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik of Malaysia 21-17, 21-13. The duo credited their "nothing to lose" mindset for the debut win.
Leo Rolly Carnando and Bagas Maulana also progressed, building on their consistent form. Meanwhile, Sabar Karyaman Gutama and Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani defeated China's Huang Di and Liu Yang 21-16, 21-15, rounding out a perfect day for Indonesian men's doubles.

Women's doubles saw Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma and Meilysa Trias Puspitasari dominate Poland's Paulina Cybulska and Kornelia Marczak 21-4, 21-16 in just 33 minutes, advancing confidently. In mixed doubles, Adnan Maulana and Indah Cahya Sari Jamil were the sole survivors, defeating India's B. Sumeeth Reddy and N. Sikki Reddy in straight games (24 minutes), while compatriots Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu and Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah bowed out early.
Singles results were less favorable. In women's singles, Putri Kusuma Wardani advanced on day one with a 21-9, 21-14 win over India's Anmol Kharb, but Gregoria Mariska Tunjung suffered a shock defeat to Scotland's Kirsty Gilmour 7-21, 14-21. Men's singles saw Alwi Farhan exit in the round of 32, losing 10-21, 16-21 to Hong Kong's Ng Ka Long Angus. Anthony Sinisuka Ginting secured a victory over Lee Cheuk Yiu, while Jonatan Christie was set to face Kenta Nishimoto later on October 15.
